lupus suis­se thri­ves on dedi­ca­ted volunteers

Ever­yo­ne who actively par­ti­ci­pa­tes in the asso­cia­ti­on, most of whom are lupus pati­ents them­sel­ves, pro­vi­des this ser­vice on a vol­un­t­a­ry and unpaid basis.

Fati­gue and fla­res do not always make this com­mit­ment easy. It is the­r­e­fo­re neces­sa­ry to dis­tri­bu­te the count­less tasks among many shoulders. 

Your sup­port sends an important message!

You can actively par­ti­ci­pa­te in our asso­cia­ti­on or sup­port the asso­cia­ti­on finan­ci­al­ly. Every con­tri­bu­ti­on is app­re­cia­ted and helps us be the­re for peo­p­le affec­ted by lupus. 

Here are the various options:

  • Beco­me a member
  • Get actively invol­ved in the asso­cia­ti­on or on the board
  • Dona­ti­on, one-time or regular
  • Beco­me a patron
  • Memo­ri­al dona­ti­on, inhe­ri­tance, or bequest
  • Lead or estab­lish a regio­nal sup­port group
  • Spon­sor­ship

We work on a vol­un­t­a­ry basis and use our resour­ces effi­ci­ent­ly so that your sup­port bene­fits peo­p­le affec­ted by lupus.

lupus suis­se is a non­pro­fit asso­cia­ti­on and the­r­e­fo­re tax-exempt. Your dona­ti­ons are tax-deductible. 

You can con­tri­bu­te to a varie­ty of activities:


  • Deve­lo­p­ment of the “lupus” maga­zi­ne (edi­to­ri­al work, jour­na­lism, pho­to­gra­phy, image rese­arch, layout)
  • Deve­lo­p­ment of the newsletter
  • Trans­la­ti­on, pro­ofre­a­ding (Ger­man, French, Italian)
  • Orga­nizati­on of medi­cal lec­tures and workshops
  • Lea­ding or estab­li­shing a regio­nal sup­port group. We will sup­port you! 
  • Public rela­ti­ons: infor­ma­ti­on, awa­re­ness-rai­sing, public enga­ge­ment, bet­ter reco­gni­ti­on and accep­tance of lupus

  • Fund­rai­sing
  • Par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on in Lupus Euro­pe or Lupus Inter­na­tio­nal conferences
  • Par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on in events and pro­jects of ProR­a­ris or kosek Switz­er­land, as well as pati­ent repre­sen­ta­ti­on in other offi­ci­al bodies.
  • Do you have addi­tio­nal ide­as on how you can get invol­ved with lupus suis­se? We look for­ward to your suggestions!

How can you contribute?

  • Are you affec­ted by lupus yours­elf (or a fami­ly mem­ber)? Share your sto­ry with our mem­bers (anony­mously if preferred). 
  • Rai­se awa­re­ness about syste­mic lupus ery­the­ma­to­sus by brin­ging your fami­ly and fri­ends to our public events.
  • Inform your fami­ly, fri­ends, and acquain­tances about the pos­si­bi­li­ty of dona­ti­ons, patro­na­ge, or sponsorship.
