lupus suisse thrives on ded­ic­ated volunteers

Every­one who act­ively par­ti­cip­ates in the asso­ci­ation, most of whom are lupus patients them­selves, provides this ser­vice on a vol­un­tary and unpaid basis.

Fatigue and flares do not always make this com­mit­ment easy.
It is there­fore neces­sary to dis­trib­ute the count­less tasks among many shoulders.

Your sup­port sends an import­ant mes­sage!

You can act­ively par­ti­cip­ate in our asso­ci­ation or sup­port the asso­ci­ation fin­an­cially.
Every con­tri­bu­tion is appre­ci­ated.
It helps us be there for people affected by lupus.

Here are the vari­ous options:

  • Become a Member
  • Get act­ively involved in the asso­ci­ation or on the board
  • Dona­tion, one-time or regular
  • Become a patron
  • Memori­al dona­tion, inher­it­ance, or bequest
  • Lead or estab­lish a region­al sup­port group
  • Spon­sor­ship

We work on a vol­un­tary basis and use our resources effi­ciently so that your sup­port bene­fits people affected by lupus.

lupus suisse is a non­profit asso­ci­ation and there­fore tax-exempt. Your dona­tions are tax-deductible. 

You can con­trib­ute to a vari­ety of activities:


  • Devel­op­ment of the “lupus” magazine (edit­or­i­al work, journ­al­ism, pho­to­graphy, image research, layout)
  • Devel­op­ment of the newsletter
  • Trans­la­tion, proofread­ing (Ger­man, French, Italian)
  • Organ­iz­a­tion of med­ic­al lec­tures and workshops
  • Lead­ing or estab­lish­ing a region­al sup­port group. We will sup­port you! 
  • Pub­lic rela­tions: inform­a­tion, aware­ness-rais­ing, pub­lic engage­ment, bet­ter recog­ni­tion and accept­ance of lupus

  • Fun­drais­ing
  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in Lupus Europe or Lupus Inter­na­tion­al conferences
  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in events and pro­jects of Pro­Rar­is or kosek Switzer­land, as well as patient rep­res­ent­a­tion in oth­er offi­cial bodies.

Raise aware­ness about lupus

Draw atten­tion to lupus suisse! For example, among your circle of friends. 

How can you contribute?

  • Are you affected by lupus your­self (or a fam­ily mem­ber)? Share your story with our mem­bers (anonym­ously if preferred). 
  • Raise aware­ness about sys­tem­ic lupus eryth­em­atosus by bring­ing your fam­ily and friends to our pub­lic events.
  • Inform your fam­ily, friends, and acquaint­ances about the pos­sib­il­ity of dona­tions, pat­ron­age, or sponsorship.
