Basel
Lupus Peer Group Basel introduces itself:
We are a group of people with lupus who have been meeting regularly since January 2025 to be among like-minded people—without labels, without having to justify ourselves. The focus is on an equal exchange about what really matters in everyday life: managing energy, work, relationships, nutrition, and ordinary life with a not-so-ordinary companion.
In addition, we also want to offer newly diagnosed people a place to arrive—so that they do not have to cope with the diagnosis alone.
What can you expect from us?
Mutual exchange and up-to-date knowledge
From time to time, guests attend our meetings and share their expertise on topics such as medication, vaccinations, and research in an easy-to-understand way. It is important to us to speak openly about conventional and alternative medicine, prevention, and naturopathic approaches.
Our philosophy
Our motto is: anything goes—nothing is required.
Our meetings are intended to be varied and co-created by everyone: from yoga sessions and expert roundtables to simply doing nothing together over a warm drink. We are deliberately still in an exploratory phase and look forward to new faces and ideas.
If you would like to help shape the programme or simply listen in, you are warmly invited.
When do we meet?
Usually once a month
Usually on the third Thursday—depending on what is agreed. We will announce the exact dates and locations in good time.
If you are curious or would like to drop in without obligation: you are welcome.
You can find the next dates under Events.
You can find the contact details in the members’ area.
