Intro­du­cing the Lupus Peer Group Lausanne:

We are a group of people with lupus who meet reg­u­larly to be among peers—without labels, without hav­ing to jus­ti­fy ourselves. The focus is on an equal exchange about what really mat­ters in every­day life: man­aging energy, work, rela­tion­ships, nutri­tion, and liv­ing a nor­mal life with a not-so-nor­mal companion. 

We also want to offer newly dia­gnosed people a place to arrive—so that they do not have to cope with the dia­gnos­is alone.

What can you expect from us?

Mutu­al exchange and up-to-date knowledge

Every six weeks, Angela, Florence, and Corinne wel­come you to the Espace Dick­ens. Over a drink, a space for con­ver­sa­tion is cre­ated where listen­ing, good­will, free­dom from judg­ment, and dis­cre­tion are top pri­or­it­ies.

Even though no med­ic­al advice is giv­en, the con­ver­sa­tions are enrich­ing; par­ti­cipants can speak freely and share their experiences.

Our philo­sophy

Our motto is: any­thing goes—nothing is required. 

Our meet­ings are inten­ded to be var­ied and co-cre­ated by every­one: from yoga ses­sions and expert round tables to simply doing noth­ing togeth­er over a warm drink. We are delib­er­ately still in a phase of find­ing our way and look for­ward to new faces and ideas.

When do we meet?

Usu­ally once a month

Usu­ally on the third Thursday—depending on what we agree. We will announce the exact dates and loc­a­tions in good time.
